Old Man

As The Old Man Walked
Through The Desert He Wondered
Why He Wandered Far And Long.
He Came Across A Mother That Nursed;
But When Paused To Help She Spat and Cursed.
The Old Man Tired And Despaired of Thirst;
As He Wandered And Searched To Quench His Tired Thirst
He Came To A River; That Was Blocked By A Barbed Wire
Fence;
And Wondered If He Were Truly Cursed.
