McCain's Mecha Encyclopedia:
The original two modesl of the Isis were an all-terrain scout and recreation vehicle, used by civilians and military alike, the third version was a Pathfinder body with all the transformation equipment removed and a larger missile magazine put in it's place.
The Mk-IV was a civilian model released with the military electronics removed and the missile launchers replaced with extra fuel tanks and an enlarged trunk.
This model was released on purpose by the urging of the RFMIB to allow their undercover units to blend in more easily as well as allowing the LRV-5 blend in as well.
A trained eye though can distinguish the three vehicles apart, the Mk-III has two missile exhaust ports on the side of the vehicle, and generally has a throatier engine sound, the LRV-5 has larger thicker tires with deep tread and usually sits lower and also has the missile exhaust ports.
